Eurofilter helps desalination plant tunnel
The South Australian desalination plant controlled by the Adelaide Aqua joint venture has received some welcomed relief in recent months.
Eurofilter was called on to supply dust extraction for the shaft tunnelling operation to provide a safe and workable air quality for the miners during the excavation process.
Eurofilter was responsible for the supply installation and commissioning of a 160 cartridge unit which will extract dust and fume from up to 250m down the tunnel shaft. The collector which is capable of 40m/sec was commissioned on time and with no down time experienced by Adelaide Aqua. Eurofilter's workplace health and safety system complimented the install with all safety documentation submitted in advance and audited prior to our arrival on site. Eurofilter is able to cater for all tunnelling and mining applications and is able to assist with feasibility and budget pricing for your upcoming tender submissions.
