E-Mat

The E-Mat unit dust collector is a compact, economical, self contained, high efficiency fabric filter, designed for intermittent duty.

OPERATION

Dust in the conveying air stream is drawn into the unit and separation takes place in two stages. In the primary stage heavier particles arc deposited into the hopper due to a reduction in velocity and change in direction of air flow. Secondary separation occurs when the fine, lighter dust is deposited onto the outer surface of the fabric. Cleaned air is discharged from the unit by the centrifugal fan either to atmosphere or back into the working environment.

To maintain extraction efficiency, the shaker mechanism should be operated under no air flow conditions. This is achieved on the CU, FBV and CUVH units, by an automatic sequence control panel and on NBV and NBVH units by a manual push button starter.

The dust removed falls into the collection facility below.

On normal applications the interval between cleaning cycles would be approximately four hours.

E-Pulse

The E-Pulse is a range of fully automatic reverse jet cleaning fabric filters designed for arduous duties and continuous operation.

EPC

Multi-bank plant type filter with dust collection and discharge arrangements to suit particular needs. Exhaust fans are separate and positioned to stilt site conditions.

The filters are based oil standard 0.7m, 1.0m and 1.5m long pad assemblies and reverse jet cleaning system.

Varying banks and tier configurations allow a wide range of filter fabric areas. The versatile arrangements available will suit most site limitations.

Dust control unit in standard form incorporates integral high efficiency, centrifugal fan, hopper and scaled dust disposal bin, with a range of filter and fan options as illustrated. Units call be supplied without fan and with alternative dust disposal systems.

This unit is a self contained fully automatic venting filter for use when venting dust laden air front enclosed spaces, e.g. storage bills, silos, etc. and ill particular for process industry applications. Filter and fan options as illustrated. Three model types are available:

• EP-N - Natural Vent Unit.
• EP-P - Incorporating Outlet Plenum.
• EP-F - Incorporating Outlet Plenum and exhaust fail as shown above.
